Wallet Introduction

A wallet can help you access the Darwin chain. You can log in to dApps through the wallet, check your balance, send transactions, and verify your identity.

Note:

Wallet providers do not hold your funds. They simply provide a window to view your assets on the Darwin chain and tools to manage them.

Connect a Wallet

The Darwin chain provides a Block Explorer compatible with EVM. This supports the following wallet:

• WalletConnect

• Metamask

• Coinbase

• Any wallet listed on ethereum.org

To connect a wallet:

1. Navigate to the https://explorer.darwinchain.ai/.

2. Click the Connect Wallet button on the top right of your screen.

1. Select the wallet you want to add.

1. Login to your chosen wallet.

Note:

We recommend using the Metamask wallet.

1. Once you log in, the Darwin chain and the wallet are connected.

Add Network

Auto Connect

To auto-add the Darwin Chain network to your wallet:

1. Navigate to the https://explorer.darwinchain.ai/.

2. Click the Add Darwin Chain button in the bottom left corner.

1. If successful, a success message will appear at the top right.

Note:

This feature can only be used with the Metamask wallet.

Manual Connection

You can manually add the Darwin Chain network to your wallet. To do this, refer to your wallet's documentation for guidance on adding a custom network. When prompted, use the following Darwin Chain details:

Devnet chain information

• Network Name: Darwin Devnet

• Chain ID: 610

• Currency Symbol: DNA

• RPC URL: https://devnet-rpc.darwinchain.ai

• Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.darwinchain.ai

Note:

We recommend using the Metamask wallet. To add the Darwin Chain network in Metamask, follow the steps here.
